A stray cat is the linking element of three tales of suspense and horror.

Spielberg wasn’t the only Steven bewitched by the sweet little blonde girl with the lisp. Stephen King also had his eye on golden child Drew. In Cat’s Eye, the first screenplay written by the Master of Horror, Drew had two separate roles in two completely different stories. Not only did she play Amanda, the little girl who’s cat saves her from the monster living in her wall, but she also played Our Girl, the mentally slow daughter of cigarette smoker Dick Morrison (James Woods).
