Fathom Events Bringing ‘WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY’ To Theaters

There’s a good chance you’ll want to put the kids to bed before watching this deadtime story! Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey is an all-new, horrifying take on the classic children’s characters, and it’s coming soon to a 100 Aker Wood near you! It looks like a bloody good time. Up until this point, it appears the film was headed to home video and on-demand only. Fear not, horror fans. Fathom Events is here to change all that!

Check out the trailer below, then read on for the details!

Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey Synopsis

The story follows a feral Pooh and Piglet as they go on a rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them.

Winnie The Pooh and some associated characters have entered the public domain, so they are now fair game to go in bold new, horrifying directions like this. No Tigger, though. He’s still protected by Copyright Law, it seems. Still, how creepy cool is this?

Rhys Frake-Waterfield directed the film. It stars Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Ronald.
