9. Goodnight Mommy (2015)
The creepy twins in the German horror film Goodnight, Mommy, Elias and Lukas (Elias and Lukas Schwarz), start out as average, young boys when their mother comes home from the hospital after facial surgery. With only her eyes and mouth visible, Mutter (Susanne Wuest) is unrecognizable in both looks and actions, and the boys think she’s an imposter. They decide to take matters into their own hands, and this is when things start to get weird. This movie is violent, dark and bloody, with the twins knowing no bounds in their quest to find their real mother, using ropes, superglue and even fire to force this stranger into confessing.
