“We have some exciting horror news today! The legendary Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein is set to star in the upcoming horror film, Death Ward 13. We were already excited about this film and now we can’t wait to see it!
“Legendary Misfits Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein is set to star in DEATH WARD 13, a remake of the cult-classic film DON’T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT. With his iconic Devilock hair and impressive physical build, “Doyle” is best known as the guitar player for the American horror punk band the MISFITS and will play the most terrifying character in the film. Now in pre-production, DEATH WARD 13 is directed by award-winning horror filmmaker Todd Nunes (ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE) and produced by The Readmond Company.
Death Ward 13 is directed and written by Todd Nunes and is based on the 1973 horror tale, Don’t Look in the Basement. It’s currently in post-production and also stars Ashley Mary Nunes from the Christmas horror themed movie, All Through The House.
The story takes place in 1973 at the Stephens Sanitarium for the Criminally Insane. They’re preparing to shut down meanwhile four nurses come to help care for the last remaining mental patients. A seemingly easily and generous situation turns into a nightmare when they soon find themselves trapped with a bunch of sadistic lunatics.
Here at PopHorror, we are huge fans of both the Misfits and the upcoming horror film Death Ward 13! We’ve been highly anticipating it for awhile and now that Doyle, a man who has horror running through his veins, is playing the ultimate villain we couldn’t ask for a better horror story!
