5 Reasons Why ‘Halloween’ Is My Favorite Film Of All Time

3.) The Element Of Fear

The element of fear has always been one of Halloween‘s strongest components. Michael stalks Laurie all day and into the night, leaving the teen close to no chance of surviving the night. She is seen as a shy bookworm, someone unable to defend herself. It’s not until the third act of the film where Laurie’s fears are put to the test, and she is forced to defend herself against a walking force of terror. This film makes you question your own fears and try to imagine what great lengths you would go to in order conquer them.
