2.) The Story
For me, the second strongest factor of Halloween is the story. The plot focuses on a trio of teenage babysitters who are stalked by a mysterious killer who escaped from a mental institute for a murder he committed 15 years prior. The film itself is realistic… something like this could actually happen. Throughout the film, Michael is seen as being a malevolent, wraith-like figure that goes through anything in his path, by any means necessary, no matter how much damage is brought upon him, to get what he wants.
