Technically, our protagonists never even got to set up camp before they started getting hunted by deformed cannibals. However, Wrong Turn still used the eerie forest setting to its advantage and kept audiences on the edge of their seats. It’s films like this one and The Hills Have Eyes that made people afraid to travel or camp. These days, you never know who -or what – lurks in the woods.

About Karli Lawson

I basically grew up watching horror films and spooky things. I watched my first horror film when I was 4 years old. I've wanted to be a writer ever since I've read Stephen King books in middle school. I love writing and talking about my favorite genre. I hope to one day be successful in screenwriting and filmmaking. Everything horror, of course!
