Into The Woods: The Best Horror Films To Watch Before You Go Camping

The Final Girls (2015)/Tucker And Dale vs. Evil (2010) – Double Feature

Who says it has to be a completely serious movie night? Chances are, even horror fans don’t want to be absolutely terrified but still want to enjoy a movie night before the trip. That’s why these two films are the perfect selections; because they bring a lot of comedy along with homages to the genre without being too frightening.

The Final Girls drops five teenagers into an ’80s slasher film, making it a meta laugh riot with surprisingly a lot of heart. Tucker And Dale vs. Evil turns the backwoods killer cliché on its head as a group of teenagers mistake two innocent friends as serial killers.

About Karli Lawson

I basically grew up watching horror films and spooky things. I watched my first horror film when I was 4 years old. I've wanted to be a writer ever since I've read Stephen King books in middle school. I love writing and talking about my favorite genre. I hope to one day be successful in screenwriting and filmmaking. Everything horror, of course!
