New To VOD: ‘AMERICAN CLOWN’ And ‘BENEATH THE LIGHT’

Appearing on VOD from Vision Films are two new films: American Clown and Beneath the Light.

American Clown – directed by Guilford Adams and Casey Pinkston. The film stars John C. Reilly, David Arquette, and David Howard Thornton. It is available as of October 7, 2025.

Synopsis

Clowns have been a symbol of humor and laughter since they first donned the iconic red nose and oversized shoes.  Those who devote their lives to the craft spend years perfecting it.  From circuses to birthday parties to movies, clowns are everywhere in our culture, but what happens when the laughter fades and the greasepaint runs?  One man sets out to find what’s left of America’s once beloved clown.

Beneath the Light – directed by John Baumgartner and starring Zach Tinker, John Pyper-Ferguson, and Ana Nicolle Chavez. It will be available on October 14, 2025.

Synopsis

Jacob takes a job at an isolated lighthouse, hoping to reconnect with a childhood friend. As strange events unfold, he grapples with reality, anxiety, and fractured memories while finding romance and an unexpected bond with the owner.
