I am not really easy to scare because I have kind of seen it all. However, there are some moments that scared me and got into my head, and I have definitely slept with the lights on still to this day when I see those random scenes forever trapped in …

Subtitles always turn me away; I’m not really a foreign movie fan. There has been a chance for at least one film. Smother slapped me into place. I have never been so into a story such as this; it’s dark, it’s dreary, and it’s full of subtitles you won’t even …

I happen to find detective shows boring; they just never thrilled me. I have long grown apart from it, but as a kid, I studied a lot about different serial killers. None of it fit my style of seeing real crime scene photos that don’t hold back. With that in …

I have mentioned before that I am a big fan of found footage films. Jennifer Van Gesell’s Water Horse took me to another realm. A realm where found footage meets a dark back story. The style has been tried many times, but these movies are hit or miss. The style …

Haunted attractions are my thing. I have been a scare actor for 6 years, and the movie hit a nostalgic spot. There aren’t really too many movies centered around the job I love, such as The Houses October Built or Haunt. They dare you to come witness the sights and …

The thing I loved the most about 80s horror films is that there were no rules. Writers could take their movie anywhere, even the horrible movies got attention. For some reason, today’s horror fans started way back in time, when there was a wild west feel. There were still icons, …

In my years of experience with the horror genre, I will always hold the Universal Monsters very close. When I was growing up, our school library held these orangebooks with all their monsters on each cover, and a short story version of each. I constantly rented these books. However, the …

It’s time to admit we are a nation in crisis, not politically, but socially. Politicians aren’t talking politics; they are openly either complaining or supporting social issues. It’s easy to notice where I stand on the issues. We are all human, and we all deserve respect for who we are, …
