I have always been in love with Toxie because he killed bullies, protecting the nerds and weirdos. Even if you don’t like horror, you know his name. The Toxic Avenger is a film you can laugh at, or even get a little emotional. You may ask how I like the trash moves. It’s easy; let’s get into why the “Monster Hero” is an icon in the horror community.
Synopsis
Tromaville has a monstrous new hero. The Toxic Avenger is born when meek mop boy Melvin falls into a vat of toxic waste. Now evildoers will have a lot to lose.
The Toxic Avenger came out strong, mainly because of the gore hounds like me. There was a certain magic in the film; it’s like the film was just for fun and put a VHS out for sale. It was “match, kerosene, boom.” They had no idea how viewers could sit in a theater while the film plays. Your first thought is boredom; you didn’t think about how the film would save a When we just see the same dude in a silly mask, chasing around teenagers in the woods. The entire movie is absolutely loved by me.
The Toxic Avenger, to me, is the most anti-hero, but he took it out on the right people. While Batman hides in the night sky, The Toxic Avenger would give him a run for his money with just a mop and tutu, beating people in the daytime or when it comes to being a really bad-acting thug. I fit right into the Troma movement. Troma has stepped to the plate. The monster fell right in with movies. The film got so much attention that he Melvin hit hard for it because I was Melvin through the end and wondering why people mess with you.
I was extremely obsessed with the film, because he found love with someone he could trust with her own disability. The blind woman and how much touching it was; Toxie finding someone he could trust, and then it hit me like a tidal wave, and it was all I wanted when I had time to myself. I watched it so much that it was one of the two films that defined horror to me. I never looked back, I was gone, off to a new place. The Toxic Avenger is in my top three.
Love For The Toxic Avenger
The Toxic Avenger will always be a top tier for me. When sad, I just watch people meet their demise for letting a Melvin. Toxic Avenger is the ultimate revenge film. The Toxic Avenger is still memorable today because every moment is perfect; no one had gone this far, not even Ed Wood. The film opened up an old fan belief vs a bit. I encourage anyone who deals with and has thoughts and feels alone to just spend some time with the Monster Hero. Though it sounds abnoxious first. I have been in love with this movie my whole life, maybe you feel the same. Maybe not, everyone has their opinion.
