2009’s ‘FRIDAY THE 13TH’ Drops In Stupendous 4k!

Arrow Video is releasing the 2009 Friday the 13th on September 17th in 4k with beautiful artwork and a ton of extras! The release will include both the theatrical and killer cut on 4k discs, there are no Blu-rays included.

The transfer to 4k is as gorgeous as you’d expect, for both cuts of the film. Where it shines, however, is the added clarity in the darker scenes throughout the movie, addressing a common complaint with the original release.

You’ll find most of the bonus features on the Theatrical Cut disc, but it’s packed with great content. They’ve added new, in depth interviews that shine a light on many of the rumors that have surfaced over the years: why does it feel rushed? Did Jason build the mine? Is Jason a weed farmer? All of which are answered, as well as providing insight of what the planned sequel would have been and much more.

This Friday the 13th set also comes with a Crystal Lake post card, a two sided poster, one side with the new art, and the other with the original, as well as a companion booklet.
