Although all movie genres provide sexy characters played by beautiful people, there’s nothing quite like a sensual, sinister grin speckled with blood spatter in a horror film. Some of the hottest psychos to grace the silver screen have us thinking that crazy is definitely the new sexy.

 

Everyone has their favorite sexy maniac, one with tousled hair and deep, probing eyes, and just the right glint of lunacy that has you weak in the knees. One of the best things about a hot headcase is that there’s an endless supply of them in horror movies, both guys and gals, with looks for every taste. 14. Tiffany Ray from Bride of Chucky (1998)

You’ve got to give credit to Jennifer Tilly – she’s the only actress out there who could make a plastic doll “sexy.”

Chucky finds himself the perfect soul mate with one of his exes, Tiffany, and puts her soul into another doll. Not pleased with her new transformation, Tiffany makes the best of it and adds a bit of style to her new body, making plastic rise everywhere! The two dolls go on a killing spree together, murdering anyone who stands in the way of their plans.

13. Norman Bates from Psycho (1960)

There’s nothing quite as sexy as a man who loves his Mother, right?

Norman Bates: hotel owner by day, killer/crossdresser by night. The handsome Anthony Perkins plays Norman Bates, and using his attractive, unassuming looks, he was able to fool many people with his gentle presence and warm smile. However, his cold, dead eyes pretty much say it all…psycho!

12. Mandy Lane from All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006)

More like EVERYONE loves Mandy Lane… I know I sure do!

Mandy and a group of her friends go to a secluded ranch for a weekend party. One by one, her friends begin to mysteriously drop dead, but who is the one killing them, and why? Sometimes “crazy” doesn’t show its beautiful face until the very end. Amber Heard plays her role amazingly and is one of the hottest psycho’s ever… Johnny Depp is one lucky man!

11. Otis Driftwood from The Devil’s Rejects (2005)

“Boy, the next word that comes out of your mouth better be some brilliant fuckin’ Mark Twain shit. ‘Cause it’s definitely getting chiseled on your tombstone.”

Otis Driftwood, played by Bill Moseley, is one sick son of a bitch, but how can you not appreciate his love of torture and mayhem? He may not be traditionally sexy, but he has an awesome beard, a certain way with words, and is part of the Firefly family…the perfect trifecta!

10. Baby Firefly from House of 1000 Corpses (2003)

Baby may look pretty, sweet, and innocent, and that’s exactly what she wants you to think…right before she tortures and kills you. Born into a family of psychotics, you can’t really expect much else of her.If you want to get with her, however, you’d better have a love for screaming and blood… otherwise, I don’t see it ending well for you. One thing for sure, is that Sheri Moon Zombie plays one of the hottest psychopaths ever!

9. George Lutz from Amityville Horror (2005)

Mmm… Ryan Reynolds!

Although the remake of Amityville Horror receives a lot of hate, Ryan Reynolds makes up for anything that the story lacks. He truly makes this movie worth watching. He makes bad look soooo good!

8. Asami Yamazaki from Audtition (1999)

“This wire can cut meat and bone easily.”

 

Played by the beautiful Eihi Shiina, Asami shows that little packages can possess some of the most sadistic scenarios. She is one bad ass chick that you don’t want to mess with. Her use of torture tools is fun, demented, and unique. Audition is one of the best Japanese horror movies ever; check it out to see this sexy psycho in action!

7. Bloody Face from Amerian Horror Story: Asylum (2012-2013)

At least, he uses the body parts of the people he kills.

 

Played by Zachary Quinto, Bloody Face is like many other serial killers, who not only torture their victims but keep trophies of them with them at all times. For him, that means wearing a mask made out of their filleted skin. Bloody Face is one of the worst psychos since he is a practicing psychiatrist and also happens to be super intelligent, good looking and charismatic, a combination that gets him any victim his black little heart desires.

 6. Nancy Downs from The Craft (1996)

“Then why are you still bleeding?”

Nancy doesn’t want to be white trash anymore, so when a new witch comes to town to complete her coven’s circle, she becomes greedy with power, wanting to control everything and everyone. If you betray her, there will be severe consequences which may include terrorizing you with your deepest fears, invading your mind, and killing anyone you love. Ever since Fairuza Balk played Nancy in The Craft, girls of all ages have wanted to be her while guys have wanted to get with her; making her one of the hottest psychos ever!

5. Billy Loomis from Scream (1996)

“Now Sid, don’t you blame the movies. Movies don’t create psychos. Movies make psychos more creative!”

Billy wanted to blame Sidney’s mom for everything, but he was just a disturbed boy with daddy issues who used horror movie tropes as a manual on how to be a psycho… but at least, he looked good while doing it! Skeet Ulrich played Billy and had a way of luring his friends in with his devilish eyes and a wicked smile. People who have met him at recent cons say he can still lay on the charm, even so many years after.

4. Lola Stone from The Loved Ones (2009)

“Am I not pretty enough?”

That song will haunt you and stay in your head for days if you choose to watch the badass movie The Loved Ones starring Robin McLeavy as Lola, a seriously disturbed girl with an even more bizarre home environment. When Lola asks Brent to prom, he politely denies her offer as he is he going with his girlfriend. However, Lola doesn’t take no for an answer. She kidnaps him and creates her own dance within her home. It gets even weirder as she sadistically tortures him throughout the night with help from her own father. She is one girl you don’t want to say no to…ever!

3. Patrick Bateman from American Psycho (2000)

“You’re a fucking ugly bitch. I want to stab you to death, and then play around with your blood.”

Patrick Bateman has a way with the ladies, that’s for sure. Psychos don’t get much sexier than Christian Bale’s as Bateman and the bizarre circumstances that led to his murder spree. I’m not sure what I love more… the way he picks his victims or the music he plays before killing them!

2. Mary Manson from American Mary (2012)

She may be psycho, but she is good at what she does… and looks good while doing it.

Katharine Isabelle plays the stunningly gorgeous Mary Manson who drops out of school and uses her surgeon skills for a better use… one with lots more blood and pain! This isn’t the first time Katharine has played one of the hottest psychos ever, her role as a werewolf in the movie Gingersnaps shows this side as well.

1. Tate Langdon from American Horror Story: Murder House (2011-2012)

“Hi, I’m Tate. I’m dead, wanna hook up?”

Those deep eyes like bottomless pits of darkness. That mop of shaggy blonde hair that he runs his fingers through absentmindedly.  That sinister smile with the most adorable dimples as he pulls the trigger over and over while mowing down classmates in a haze of bullets. What’s not to love? It doesn’t matter how many people he has killed, hurt, or victimized, you can’t help but love his character. Tate is played by Evan Peters and even though he is dreamy in every single role he’s played thus far on the show American Horror Story, Tate will forever remain his most iconic role. After all, it’s the one that had fans saying, “Move over Casper, I want Tate, the hottest psycho ghost, to keep me forever.”
