Happy Father’s Day – Freddy’s Dead
When a new Elm Street film is added to the franchise, we always learn something new about Freddy Krueger. However, it’s not until the last film in the franchise that we all learn that Freddy was a father before he died, and now his daughter is the only one who could help him escape Springwood. But his daughter, Maggie (Lisa Zane), isn’t about to let that happen. With the help of her friends, she brings Freddy into the real world and destroys the father she barely knew – all while whispering, “Happy Father’s Day” before the final explosion. Freddy was a horrible person and unluckily for him, that trait wasn’t passed down to his little girl.
