Friday the 13th is a 7v1 asymmetric horror survival game where seven gamers play as the helpless camp counselors and one lucky player gets to play as the nigh unstoppable Jason Voorhees. I reviewed Friday the 13th when it came out on the PlayStation 4 and, since then, Illfonic and Gun Media have been working tirelessly to give us players the Friday the 13th experience we all crave. It is sixty percent off, so I recommend you pick up this amazing game.
Dead By Daylight
Dead By Daylight is another asymmetrical horror survival game which has four unwitting players trying to escape a psychotic maniac (some of which are Freddy Krueger, Micheal Myers, Leatherface, and Jigsaw) through downloadable content. With that many horror icons to choose from, how could you not want to play this game? Especially when it is fifty percent off!
What Remains of Edith Finch
What Remains of Edith Finch is a horror walking simulator that tells the story of Edith Finch, who travels back to the Finch family home in Washington to explore her ancestral history after recent family events drive her to learn more about herself and the Finches. This was one of my favorite games from last year, and is one that leaves you second guessing everything you see. With it being forty percent off, how could you not want to try this one?
Soma
Soma is a story about Simon Jarrett who finds himself in a mysterious, ravaged facility after seemingly losing consciousness during a new, experimental brain scan which was suggested to him for his brain damage after a car accident. Soma is made by the developers, Frictional Games, who made Amnesia: The Dark Descent. They specialize in survival horror, and it shows. This game is disturbing and absolutely terrifying! Soma is discounted at forty percent off, so what are you waiting for?!
Slayaway Camp
Slayaway Camp is a charming horror themed puzzle game made by developers Blue Wizard, the creators of Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle. This game is fun and challenging with tons of horror movie references which even the most hardcore horror fan can appreciate. Expect to see my review on the site very soon.
