Extreme films Carcinoma, Melancholie der Engel, and XXX Dark Web are coming to home video via TetroVideo on September 6, 2021.
TetroVideo is proud to present the German disturbing extreme films Melancholie der Engel (2009) and Carcinoma (2014), directed by controversial filmmaker Marian Dora (Cannibal, Voyage to Agatis). Carcinoma and the extended edition of Melancholie der Engel are coming in a limited/numbered DVD PACK edition (Slipcase + DVD + Card) and in an ultra-limited/numbered Mediabook Gold edition (Slipcase + DVD + 20-page booklet) with french, Italian, and English subtitles.
The two titles will be available for pre-order on September 6th along with the new XXX Dark Web (2020) edition. The extreme cult anthology film will be available in a Mediabook Gold edition (Slipcase + DVD + 20 pag booklet) limited to preorder.
Melancholie der Engel is a shocking independent extreme film about perversions and depravity. The film is directed, shot, and edited by Marian Dora and co-written by Dora and Carsten Frank.
Melancholie der Engel Synopsis:
Two friends meet again to share their last days in an old house where everything happened a long time ago. They gather a group of people, which results in a disastrous turn of events, which reveals the deepest human depths. Carsten Frank (Cannibal), Peter Martell (La morte accarezza a mezzanotte), Zenza Raggi, Janette Weller, Patrizia Johann, Marc Anton and Margarethe von Stern star.
Carcinoma
Produced, written, and directed by Marian Dora, Carcinoma is one of the most disturbing films ever made and explores the vast array of emotions and mental states that accompany the diagnosis of a terminal illness. The plot centers around a terminally ill man who refuses treatment and establishes a carnal fixation on the cancer that slowly consumes him. Dorian Piquardt, Thomas Goersch (Voyage to Agatis), Carina Palmer, Curd Berger, Ulli Lommel, Stanley Grimmer and Lisbeth Piquardt star.
XXX DARK WEB
Considered one of the best extreme films, the brutal anthology film, XXX Dark Web, is a TetroVideo exclusive and the sequel to XXX Deep Web (2018). The film consists of six episodes that explore the theme of the vast unknown spaces in the non-indexed internet. The directors involved in this project are Alex Hernández (Blood For Flesh), Domiziano Cristopharo (Xpiation, TetroManiac: eROTik) Emanuele Marchetto (segment “Stalker” in XXX Deep Web), Adam Ford (Torment), Daniel Valient/White Gardenia and Lorenzo Zanoni (segment “Gully” in ILL: Final Contagium – read our review here).
