I’ve been following Paul Ragsdale and Angie De Alba since I reviewed their film Streets of Vengeance back in 2016. I’ve been a huge fan ever since and I’m always anxiously awaiting their latest film. Well, the times has arrived for a new A & P Productions film, Onlyfangs.
Read on for my thoughts.
Synopsis
A wanna be monster hunter helps a blood thirsty gang of vampire chicks expand their business by creating a new app to turn their victims into customers.
Onlyfangs was directed by Paul Ragsdale and Angie De Alba (Murdercise) from a script by Ragsdale. The film stars Kansas Bowling (read our interview with her HERE), Drew Marvick (Pool Party Massacre), Nina Lanee Kent (Slashlorette Party), Jessa Jupiter Flux (Crackoon), Ellie Church (Gush), Adriana Uchishiba (Flesh of the Unforgiven), Meredith Mohler (When the Trash Man Knocks), Bebe Bardot (Murdercise), Delawna McKinney (Streets of Vengeance), Ginger Lynn (read our interview with her HERE), August Kyss (Wolf Hollow), Little Puck, Satta Murray, Lo Espinosa (Cuddly Toys), Anthony Iava To’omata (Cinco De Mayo), Shane Meyers, and Bryan Hurd (Streets of Vengeance).

As I said earlier, I’ve been a fan of Paul and Angie for quite awhile now. I’ve always been highly impressed with what they’ve been able to pull off on a budget. Onlyfangs takes that and stretches it even further. This is definitely their most ambitious film to date, and every dollar shows on the screen. Paul and Angie have assembled a hell of a cast and created some wonderful characters for them to inhabit.
Kansas Bowling is utterly charming as Reese, a naive young vamp. It’s easy to see how a human could find themselves falling in love with her. Nina Lanee Kent is equal parts sexy and menacing as Scarlett, the leader of the vamps. Anriana Uchishiba is gorgeous and bloodthirsty as Selena, who loves the kill. Meredith Mohler is entrancing as Zoeey, a vamp obsessed with French New Wave films. Drew Marvick is wonderful as always as Wes. Jessa Flux stuns and is incredibly relatable as Gwen who just wants something for herself and is tired of the dead end grind. Shane Meyers is one of the few in the main cast I wasn’t familiar with by he holds his own as Quintin, Wes’s friend and fellow Monster Boy. Anthony Iava To’omata is a ton of fun as Ridley, a truther trying to figure things out but ultimately he’s clueless. Ellie Church is hilarious as a Right Wing politician that aligns herself with Ridley

Everything about the film is perfectly executed. The costume design from Angie De Alba is wonderful. Everything looks great and all the characters have their unique look and feel. Lo Espinosa, who plays the vampire Zara, does a great job with the special effects. I’m really impressed at the things she was able to accomplish on such a low budget. The cinematography by Dan Zampa is gorgeous, especially during the long sequences of the Onlyfangs girls doing their shows. The film is well written and the dialogue is hilarious. The ending is incredibly satisfying and leaves the door open for more, which I would welcome as I say not lightly that this is the best film that Paul and Angie have directed thus far.
Final Thoughts
Onlyfangs is an indie horror comedy masterpiece. It’s combines, sexy thrills, gory kills, romance, and a killer story with room for a sequel. Paul and Angie’s best film yet. Highly recommended.
