Creeping into Strongsville, Ohio (Cleveland area) on August 16-17, 2024, first year convention Ohio Terror Con is offering some unique opportunities to see some quality indie films, meet some celebrities that aren’t your usual convention guests, and browse some diverse horror vendors!
Setting up shop at a venue that will seem strangely familiar to Midwest horror fans, Ohio Terror Con has managed to offer some really amazing “reunions” for it’s debut event. With Troma celebrating a milestone birthday this year, and the esteemed Lloyd Kaufman getting into the director’s chair once again, what better time to attend a rare Toxic Avenger reunion?
Melvin himself, Mark Torgl will be joined by: Jennifer Babtist (Wanda), Gary Schneider (Bozo), Robert Pritchard (Slug), and Cynthia Manion (Julie). There’s also a Night of the Demons slant, with Amelia Kinkade, Hal Havens, and Nick Benson appearing. Frankenhooker star Patty Mullins, Micheal Hargrove (Candyman 2021), Susan Lanier (The Hills Have Eyes), Walter Phelan (House of 1000 Corpses) and a host of others will be there to sign your treasured memorabilia.
Films, photo ops, panels and contests are also on tap for what looks to be an exceptional weekend of horrors for Ohio area fright fans!
