Khaled Ridgeway’s ‘Death Of A Telemarketer’ in Theaters and VOD on December 3

There are few things more reviled than the telemarketer, but in actuality, they’re  just trying to make a living like everyone else. Filmmaker Khaled Ridgeway asks: What if a desperate telemarketer ventured into the Do Not Call list with dire consequences? Kasey (Lamorne Morris) really needs to win a heated sales contest with Barry (Woody McClain), a rival telemarketer. He goes deep into the  darkest corners of the Do Not Call list and finds Asa (Jackie Earle Haley), who hasn’t gotten over the last time Kasey tried to sell him something. What ensues is a cat and mouse game where it’s tough to know who to root for.

The cast includes Lamorne Morris (Barbershop: The Next Cut, Sandy Wexler), Jackie Earle Haley (Nightmare On Elm Street 2010), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense, Pay it Forward), Alisha Wainwright (Palmer, Shadowhunters), and Starletta DuPois (The Notebook, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure)

About Kevin Scott

Parents who were not film savvy and completely unprepared for choosing child appropriate viewing material were the catalyst that fueled my lifelong love affair with horror, exploitation, blaxploitation, low budget action, and pretty much anything that had to be turned off when my grandparents visited. I turned out okay for the most part, so how bad could all these films actually be?
