The Death Park series started as a series of short films in 2018. These shorts were combined with additional footage to make the feature Death Park: The Beginning in 2021, which was soon followed by Death Park: The End. In 2025, four years later, the sequel Return to Death Park was released.
Read on for my thoughts on the film.
Synopsis
The Death Park Killer’s body vanishes from the morgue, sparking new murders. Chloe leads bounty hunters after the $50k reward, while survivors Hunter, Willie, and Shady return to end the terror once and for all.
Return to Death Park was directed by Ken Brewer from a script he wrote with Meri Gyetvay. The film stars Josi Kat, Linnea Swanson, Doug Waugh,Ken Brewer, Robert Allen Mukes and Bridget The Midget.

Return to Death Park does a great job of building off of prior films in the series. It explains some thing, like the killer’s motivations as well as how Robert Allen Mukes character figures into the plus, as well as brings back surviving characters and introducing characters that are connected to past victims. I loved that they brought back Willie and introduced Chloe, the sister of Angel from the previous films. I loved that Linnea Swanson joined the cast. I really enjoyed her in Ken Brewer’s previous film Death Bitch so it was nice to see her in another of his movies.
In the previous film we didn’t get much time with characters before they were killed off. This time around I feel like the chararacters were built up a little more. They were also given more of a chance to fight back, for what little good it does them. Speaking of fighting, I thought it was nice that they cast John Ozuna and that he had a fight scene with Robert Allen Mukes, though I kind of wish it had went on longer.

I really enjoyed the cast. Josi Kat was great as Chloe and you can really feel why she feels the need to hunt down this killer, no matter what it takes. Joe D’Aguanno, the long running veteran of the series as Willie, is kinda the Doctor Loomis of the movie, who obsessively hunts the killer. Linnea Swanson brings some attitude with her character Shady, a character who appeared mainly in the shadows till now. Linnea gives her a sense of humor and personality.
Doug Waugh returns as Hunter Murdoch, who was left for dead in the last film. I’m not sure how he survived but he did and he brings a douchey humor to most of his scenes. She’s not a huge part of the movie but I really enjoyed Bridget The Midget’s presence in the film. There are lots of kills on screen including stabbings, drillings, broken necks, strangulations, smashed heads and more.

Final Thoughts
Return to Death Park is a fun no budget slasher film with a great cast and a ton of kills. If you don’t mind your horror on the low end of low budget than you should find something to like here. Recommended.
