Joe Begos’s ‘JIMMY AND STIGGS’ Now Melting Brains On Digital Platforms

Alien carnage. Neon-soaked gore. Practical effects made in a cramped apartment. JOE BEGOS‘ latest splatter spectacle, JIMMY AND STIGGS, is finally coming home. Beginning October 1, 2025, horror fans can own or rent the digital release on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV+, and Fandango at Home—just in time for the spooky season.

Brains Will Melt

A hallucinatory descent into alien splatter madness, Jimmy and Stiggs showcases every puppet, blood geyser, and gore gag meticulously built by hand inside Begos’ L.A. apartment. Think gallons of neon slime, practical monster suits, and a gonzo attitude only Begos could deliver.

Two washed-up party bros—Jimmy and Stiggs—must set aside their differences and survive an apartment siege of otherworldly body horror. Fueled by drugs, booze, and pure rock ‘n’ roll chaos, it’s a ferocious sci-fi horror comedy that demands repeat viewings.

This is Begos’ most outrageous trip yet—one that cements him as one of the most fearless voices in modern genre filmmaking.

The Critics Are Screaming

Early reviews confirm what Begos diehards already suspected: this is the midnight movie of the year.

  • Los Angeles Times’ Joshua Rothkopf raves: “JIMMY AND STIGGS is pure exhilaration… One apartment. Some power tools. Lots of neon goop. It fucking rules.”

  • Collider’s Luna Guthrie calls it “absolutely wild… raw, colorful, packed to the rafters with neon gore, and delivered with a rock’n’roll sensibility so cool that you can’t help but love it.”

  • Bloody Disgusting’s Daniel Kurland says, “The world needs more playful, gonzo small-scale-yet-apocalyptic horror films like Jimmy and Stiggs.”

  • JoBlo’s Tyler Nichols declares, “An absolute cacophony of chaos.”
