EPIX just released a first-look teaser trailer for their contemporary sci-fi horror series, From. It looks pretty cool! Production wrapped earlier this month in Halifax, Nova Scotia. EPIX plans to release it early next year in the U.S. while Netflix distributes it everywhere else.
Check out the teaser below, then read on for the details!
FROM (2022) Synopsis
FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.
John Griffin (Crater) created the series. Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones, Mr. Mercedes) directs and executive produces alongside Griffin showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Fringe, Alias, Lost). The ensemble cast features Harold Perrineau (Lost, Oz), Catalina Sandino Moreno (The Affair), Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers), Ricky He (The Good Doctor), and David Alpay (Castle Rock).
Looks like a fun, intense little mystery!
The series premieres on EPIX on February 20, 2022. Stay tuned to PopHorror for more news and info as it becomes available! In the meantime, you can follow #FromOnEpix on Social Media.
