Coming soon to Digital from Vertigo Releasing and director Lee Tamahori (Once Were Warriors) is a new film: The Convert. The film stars Guy Pearce (Memento), Tioreore Ngatai-Melbourne (E Rangi Ra), and Antonio Te Maioha (Spartacus – TV Series).

Synopsis

When a lay preacher (Guy Pearce – Momento, The Hurt Locker, L.A. Confidential) arrives at a British settlement in 1830s New Zealand, his violent past is drawn into question and his faith put to the test as he finds himself caught in the middle of a bloody war between Māori tribes.
