Anchor Bay Entertainment To Distribute New Films: ‘ABRUPTIO’ And ‘DINNER WITH LEATHERFACE’

Anchor Bay Entertainment, the newly developed distribution branch of Umbrelic Entertainment is set to release two new films: Abruptio and Dinner with Leatherface.

Abruptio – Directed by Evan Marlowe

Synopsis

Les Hackel is a guy down on his luck who wakes to find an explosive device has been implanted in his neck.

Starring the voices of James Marsters, Christopher McDonald, and Jordan Peele.

Dinner with Leatherface – Directed by Michael Kallio (Koreatown)

Synopsis

Documentary about Gunnar Hansen, the actor who portrayed Leatherface in “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (1974). Friends, colleagues, filmmakers, and fellow actors share personal stories and discuss the dichotomy between the maniacal chainsaw-wielding character he played on-screen and the very intelligent, creative, soft-spoken man he actually was in real life.

Abruptio is set to release in the second quarter of 2024, while Dinner with Leatherface should be released this Fall!
