Things You Can Do To Get You In The Halloween Mood

Play Some Creepy Games

Some games you can try are:

Bloody MaryBloody Mary is the children’s game of summoning an evil and vengeful witch of the same name.

Lights Out in the bathroom. Place your candle in the bathroom and light it, stand and look into the mirror, chant slowly, “Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary.” See what happens! It’s up to you to believe what you may or may not experience. If nothing happens, try spinning around three times and then look in the mirror – see anything yet?

It’s believed that most people see something after spinning around furiously. Or, you know, it could just be your imagination.

Candyman: Go into the bathroom and say his name five times. If he appears, you are to turn on the lights as fast as you. If you don’t, some say he kills you through the mirror, while others say he gives you candy with razors in them. So, if you are brave enough to try this, just don’t eat the candy.

Cat Scratch: You need two people for this one. You sit on the floor and your friend lays down with their head in your lap. If there are others, they sit in a circle and watch. Rub your friend’s temples in a soothing motion as you tell them a scary story about a cat.

Something like:

You are walking through a dark alley late at night. You are the only one there. The ground is slick with rain. The alley is filled with garbage cans and litter. But then you hear something. A movement in the garbage cans. You pick up your pace. You want to get out of the alley fast. But then you see something. Red eyes. Glowing red cat eyes. They are the eyes of an enormous cat. You run, but the cat chases you and jumps on you. It scratches you, one, two, three. Cat scratch, cat scratch, cat scratch!

Immediately after you have finished the story, get the person who is lying down to quickly stand up and lift up their shirt. There should be scratches on the person’s back. Scratches from the cat…

Just a Canadian girl who loves horror movies and old music. I grew up watching horror with older siblings, and cousins but I really fell in love when I watched Wes Craven's A Nightmare On Elm Street, and I've been in love ever since.
