Revisit The World Of V.C. Andrews With 4 Part Movie Series, ‘V.C. Andrews’ Landry Family’

Back in the ’80s, we were introduced to the world of V.C. Andrews with the Dollangangers and the Flowers in the Attic series. Now, we follow a new family: the Landry’s. V.C. Andrews’ Landry Family will be a four-movie series that is set to be released July 27, 2021. The main character of the film, Ruby, dives into the roots of her family tree in the Louisiana bayou.

Synopsis:

Adapted from the prolific author’s books, the V.C. Andrews’ Landry Family movie series follows the story of Ruby Landry as she digs deeper into the roots of her mysterious family tree. Raised by her grandmother in the Louisiana bayou, Ruby gets caught up in a web of dark secrets and betrayal over the course of four Lifetime Original movies — Ruby, Pearl in the Mist, All That Glitters, and Hidden Jewel.

The cast of V.C. Andrews’ Landry Family includes Naomi Judd (An Evergreen Christmas 2014), Raechelle Banno (Pandora TV series, Home and Away TV series), Crystal Fox (Big Little Lies TV series, The Haves and the Have Nots TV series), Ty Wood (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina TV series, Riverdale TV series), and Sam Duke (Parallel MindsA GentlemanBeyond the Sun). Also included in the cast is Primetime Emmy winner Gil Bellows (Outstanding TV Movie, Temple Grandin 2010), Grammy nominee (Best Engineered Album – Non-Classical, Destination Moon 2008), and Daytime Emmy winner Lauralee Bell (Outstanding Special Class Short – Format Daytime, mI promise 2014).

I am looking forward to these films. I thoroughly enjoyed the Flowers in the Attic series that was released back in 2014. The cast has plenty of experience. I believe that they will be the biggest strength for the four films. V.C. Andrews’ Landry Family will be available on Lifetime for $19.98 starting on July 27, 2021.
