Robert Englund is a national treasure. A genre icon for more than 40 years, Englund is known for his affable personality and warm interactions with fans around the world. I think it’s safe to say the entire horror community was elated to learn the A Nightmare on Elm Street actor was set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The ceremony happened, fittingly, on Halloween, and Englund was surrouned by friends, family, fans, and comrades in arms, including director Eli Roth and frequent final girl collaborator Heather Langenkamp.
