Stalker

Synopsis for Stalker

In the wake of a messy break-up, Andy Escobedo decides to start fresh, relocating from Austin to Los Angeles. Eager to make new connections, he befriends Roger, an unusual rideshare driver. But when Roger’s behavior gets too strange for comfort, Andy blows him off, choosing to focus on a budding relationship with his new girlfriend, Sam. This unhinges Roger, who begins to torment Andy, ensuring that his stay in L.A. is short-lived.

Stalker

Stalker delivers a unique story. Andy and Roger’s friendship seems innocent and normal at first. Andy is new to town and Roger is a lonely guy who needs a friend. Unforntantly for Andy, it turns into something far more serious and deadly than he ever imagined. What I love about this film is that it shows how imperfect the human race is despite our ability to face reality. We all have flaws and secrets, some more than others, and sometimes those secrets sneak up and bite us in the ass.

All of the performances were awesome. Christine Ko, Vincent Van Horn, and Michael Lee Joplin had great chemistry and were a dynamic trio. Michael played creepy and unhinged, flawlessly. He definitely stood out and made it clear he’s not one to mess with.

Tyler Savage - stalker

All of the thrills and twists throughout Stalker were exceptionally surprising and fun. It’s not a film that’s overly bloody or gory, but it does have some bloodshed. Instead, it’s driven as a psychological horror that will leave your heart-racing and never want to take a ride with a stranger again.

Stalker is now available On Demand and Streaming Devices from Vertical Entertainment. Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think!
