Mill Creek Entertainment’s Highly Anticipated Remake, ‘The Most Dangerous Game,’ Hits Theaters and Digital on August 5th

The highly anticipated remake of the 1932 classic, The Most Dangerous Game, releases theatrically and digitally on August 5, 2022. This 90 year old film paved the way for the “humans hunting humans is the ultimate sport” genre. Films like Hard Target and Surviving the Game pay homage in one way or another to a premise that never goes out of fashion… the duality of the nature of man.

Mill Creek’s remake brings an impressive cast list that includes veteran tough guy Tom Berenger (Sniper, Eddie and the Cruisers, Last of the Dogmen), Casper Van Dien (our interviewStarship Troopers, Sleepy Hollow, Slayer), the legendary Bruce Dern (The Hateful Eight, Nebraska, They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?, Freaksour review), Judd Nelson (our interviewThe Breakfast Club, Relentless), and Christopher “C.T” Tamburello (Habitual, The Challenge TV series)

About Kevin Scott

Parents who were not film savvy and completely unprepared for choosing child appropriate viewing material were the catalyst that fueled my lifelong love affair with horror, exploitation, blaxploitation, low budget action, and pretty much anything that had to be turned off when my grandparents visited. I turned out okay for the most part, so how bad could all these films actually be?
