Synopsis:

Dwight (Patrick Fugit) and Jessie (Ingrid Sophie Schram) who put all their energy into keeping their little brother Thomas (Owen Campbell) alive. But he craves human blood.

My Heart Can’t Beat Unless You Tell It To was written and directed by Jonathan Cuartas. The film is Cuartas’ first feature film. It stars Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous, Dead Birds 2004 – read our retro review here), Ingrid Sophie Schram (Phantom Thread), and Owen Campbell (Depraved 2019 – read our review here).

From the trailer, the film looks to be heart-wrenching with all the feels. The story reminds me very much of Let the Right One In. It is a high-stakes drama that will make your heart bleed. My Heart Can’t Beat Unless You Tell It To will be coming to digital downloads on June 28, 2021. It will take a bite out of your heart!
