Goredrome Pictures and TetroVideo Unveil Extreme May Releases

For May, Gorehounds Picutres and TetroVideo are pleased to announce the release of four horror and extreme films, currently on pre-order: She Kills, Nightmares From Beyond, Art/Crime, and Gorenography.

She KillsWritten and directed by Ron Bonk. The cast includes Jennie Russo, Jody Pucello, Trey Harrison, Michael Merchant, David Royal and Martha Zemsta.

 Synopsis

The honeymoon of sweet Sadie (Jennie Russo) and Edwin (Kirk LaSalle) is destroyed by the Touchers, a gang of criminals who follow the couple to the motel.

Between humiliation and abuse, the girl finds she possesses a strange hidden power that will aid her in her quest for revenge.

The film is available, in English and with subtitles in Italian and French, in the limited numbered edition Mediabook with DVD, Blu-ray and Booklet.

Nightmares From Beyond – Directed by Chris Milewski. 

Synopsis

A collection of short films written and directed by Chris Milewski. With this collection the director pays homage to Lucio Fulci and the Italian horror cinema of the ’70s and ’80s, involving in this project the famous Italian composers Fabio Frizzi (Zombi 2, City of the Living Dead) and Carlo Maria Cordio (Rosso sangue, Aenigma) for the soundtrack.

The film is available in the limited and numbered Mediabook edition (only 150 copies) with Blu-ray and booklet. Magnet and T-Shirt are also available.

Nightmares From Beyond includes 16 short films made between 2013 and 2024: “The Cold Eyes of Death”; “Violets Bloom at an Empty Grave”; “Help Me Have No Human Ways”; “The World of Shadows”; “The Ghosts of Eden Hall”; “Welcome to the world, Dear Child”; “Poe 4: House of the Black Cat”; “Phobia: Pharmacophobia”; “Phantoms of the Fog”; “Garden of Souls”; “The Thousand Steps”; “Le Fleur du Diable”; “The City of Dunwich”; “The True Story of the Christ’s Return”; “A View from a Forgotten Grave” and “La ragazza con il cappello rosso”.

Art/Crime – Directed by Frederick Maheux. 

Synopsis

A documentary about violence, horror, censorship and legislation on the web. In 2009, the special effects makeup artist Remy Couture was arrested on charges of obscenity and corruption of morality following a complaint regarding images coming from his website.

Discusses violence, fiction and censorship in movies but also on the Web, involving some directors such as Nacho Cerda (Afetrmath), Éric Falardeau (Thanatomorphose), Robert Morin and Patrick Senechal, who express their thoughts on the matter.

 The film is available in the limited edition Mediabook (Cover A and Cover B) with Blu-ray and Booklet.

Gorenography – Presented by Tony Newton.  

Synopsis

A documentary film about extreme cinema. It sheds light on underground extreme/horror cinema, focusing attention on the directors who made some of the goriest films of this subgenre. Uncensored, this documentary gives the opportunity to delve into this niche, with exclusive trailers, short films and interviews with various directors (Joe Cash, Lucky Cerruti, Jonathan Doe, Mickey Espinoza, Gore Filth, Patrick Fortin, Nathan Hine, Tony Newton, Davide Fishing, R. Zachary Shildwachter, René Wiesner
