Giant Spider Web
What I used: 150-200 yards of clothesline rope, scissors, a lighter, anchor points, large spider.
Start by picking the perfect spot to display your giant spider web. Decide if you want your web to go from high to low or side to side. First, attach one anchor point where you want your web to begin. Using the clothesline rope, roughly measure out vertical lines the length you want your web to be from the initial anchor point to web’s final destinations. We did four lines because of limited space but feel free to experiment. After you cut the rope, burn the ends to prevent fraying.
I tied all four ropes to the anchor point on the roof, and then tied each rope to the other anchor points that was hammered into the ground. By all means, spread these base ropes as wide as you like. Starting at the top, I tied rope across the vertical lines, starting at one end and moving to the next rope after making a simple knot. Continue all the way down to the desired length. There may be a few trial and errors in finding out how loose or tight you want your web to look.
Finally, stick your large spider into the middle of the ropes. Extend the legs to achieve a realistic look. The spider can be attached with twist ties, wire, zip ties or pipe cleaners. Continue to add lights, more spider webs and smaller spiders all throughout.
