Premiering soon at SWSX is Blumhouse’s new thriller directed by Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day): Drop. The film stars Brandon Sklenar (Vice), Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus) and Violett Beane (Death and Other Details). Drop will make its world premiere at SXSW on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 9:00 PM at Austin’s historic Paramount Theater.
Synopsis
A widowed mother’s first date in years takes a terrifying turn when she’s bombarded with anonymous threatening messages on her phone during their upscale dinner, leaving her questioning if her charming date is behind the harassment.
