Mark your calendars folks because it’s that time of year again! You got it, the Phoenix Film Festival in conjunction with the Phoenix International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival takes over the Harkins Cinema Scottsdale 101 March 26 through April 5, 2020. And this year the festival is celebrating the big 2-0! Heralded as Arizona’s largest film festival, and very filmmaker-friendly, PFF/IHSFF opens with a screening of The Lovebirds, an upcoming American romantic comedy, which will jump-start 11 days of screenings (including the world premiere of Analog Love, the mixed-tape documentary by Arizona’s own, Rob Galluzzo), filmmaking seminars, parties, and other events. With feature films and shorts from not only Arizona filmmakers but also from around the world, there’s so much to see and do that the over 25,000 in expected attendees will find something to place their eyeballs on.
For those wanting to attend the opening night festivities can purchase their tickets HERE. All other passes, from the top tier Platinum pass, all the way down to single movie tickets, can be purchased HERE. There are multiple pass choices so missing out on something is not an option. I wouldn’t hesitate too long though, as this is the coolest film festival in town, and you definitely want to be there.
