PopHorror Let's Get Scared
Sometimes you never what you’re going to get when diving into a film. This has undoubtedly been the case when watching shorts and features for the Final Girls Berlin Film Festival. The most recent one I watched was called Devil Is On His Way. The short was written and directed by Ophelie Neve.
Official Synopsis for Devil Is On His Way:
Female gang takes revenge on patriarchy in a bloody unexpected way.
This one was short and pretty much straight to the point. These girls are definitely ones I would never want to mess with – they get down and dirty. However luckily for me, I don’t think I would ever be on their “victim” list. You’ll have to watch it to fully understand what I mean.
The very last scene was my favorite part. I loved seeing “their work” on the wall and displayed proudly. Sadistic, but awesome.
Final Thoughts:
I would have loved to see a tad bit more blood and gore just because these girls were pretty hardcore, but it was still enjoyable. I would love to see who their next victim is. Be sure to check out Devil Is On His Way when you can and let us know what you think!
