David Kerr’s ‘Go Away’ (2022) Features Felissa Rose, Thom Mathews, Tuesday Knight, More

Filmmaker David Kerr has written and directed a string of memorable, indie slashers in recent years. Those titles include Curse of the Slasher Nurse, Return of the Slasher Nurse, and Bloody Summer Camp (read our review here). Fun stuff! Kerr recently turned to Indiegogo to crowdfund his latest effort, Go Away (2022), which features an all-star cast of horror mainstays.

GO AWAY (2022) Synopsis

Liz , along with her boyfriend Mark, travel to a remote home in the woods to visit her estranged mother, Sherry. Sherry has recently remarried after the death of her first husband to an odd man named Chuck and has invited her family out to meet him.

As Liz and the rest of her family try to put their differences aside long enough to survive dinner, an unexpected knock at the door turns into deadly chaos when a group of masked intruders take the family hostage and force them to play a deadly game of hide and seek.

As the night unfolds, the intruders realize a deadly secret may be waiting for the for them as well.

David Kerr wrote and directed the film. It stars Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Thom Mathews (Return of the Living Dead), Tuesday Knight (A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master), L.C. Holt (You’re Next), and Robert Mukes (House of 1000 Corpses).

Go Away (2022)

Filming is wrapping now, according to IMDB, and the film is expected to release sometime in 2022. Once we get an official release date, we’ll let you know!

This looks like a lot of fun. I’m really impressed with the cast Kerr assembled on a budget of just $35,000. Can’t wait to check it out!
