PopHorror Let's Get Scared
We’re still smack dab in the middle of a global pandemic, yet there is no shortage of films coming out about viral outbreaks and what comes after. The latest is John Keeyes’ The Survivalist which stars Johnathan Rhys Meyers and pits him against John Malkovich. Check out the trailer below.
The Survivalist, directed by Jon Keeyes and written by Matthew Rogers, is a horrifying thriller that takes place a year and a half after the fall of civilization due to a viral outbreak. A former FBI agent (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) is forced to protect a young woman (Ruby Modine, daughter of actor Matthew Modine), who is immune to the disease from a dangerous gang leader (John Malkovich) hunting her for her blood. The film also features Lori Petty and Julian Sands.
