Released on Video On Demand everywhere on April 18th, Wolves at the Door is a home invasion movie inspired by the Manson Family murder spree in the year 1969. Check out the trailer. It looks pretty intense!
The official synopsis for Wolves at the Door:
Four friends gather at an elegant home during the Summer of Love, 1969. Unbeknownst to them, deadly visitors are waiting outside. What begins as a simple farewell party turns to a night of primal terror as the intruders stalk and torment the four, who struggle for their lives against what appears to be a senseless attack.
This movie was directed by John R. Leonetti (Annabelle 2014, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation 1997) and written by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle 2014, IT 2017). Starring Katie Cassidy (A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010, Black Christmas 2006), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agents of Shield TV series), and Adam Campbell (Epic Movie 2007, Date Movie 2006), Wolves at the Door is based on the night Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger and Wojciech Frykowski died – the first set of murders committed by members of the Manson family on August 8, 1969.
This seems like it will be an entertaining horror film worth checking out. I know I will be! Just remember…. don’t let them in!
