Struggling actor Lukas D’Amico is at war with his own ambition. To capture the spotlight, he manufactures “Lucas D” a condescending, alpha-male persona he despises but knows is a magnet for viral fame. To cement the character’s following, the city dwelling actor embarks on a grueling wilderness expedition, live streaming the journey until his signal dies and he’s forced to document the trip via solo vlog.

Alone in the woods and woefully unprepared, Lukas is trapped in a bitter tug of war: he must keep performing this “alpha” caricature to secure his future, even as the isolation pushes his resentment to a breaking point.
