PopHorror Let's Get Scared
I attended the recent Sci-Fi Horror Fest in Vernon , NY, which ran from August 15th-16th 2025. What’s it all about? Sci-Fi Horror Fest is a 2 day horror festival that has a lot of good venders and celebrities.

Just a note: I did pay for a general admission ticket in order to get my media pass, but it was worth it.
Let’s Get This Show On The Road
I got there at 10:00 am and was immediately let in. The first thing I did was get my wristband from the VIP/Media area (and by the way, shout out to the amazing staff that got me my wristband including Tiffani Beth, who did an amazing job). After getting my badge I looked around the con to see which vendors and guests were there.
To The Floor
First, I went and perused the Fest to see which vendors and guests were there. Then I went to see if the celebrity guests I wanted to get were there already, and they were. The first celebrity guest I interacted with was Caroline Williams who played Vanetta “Stretch” Brock in Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 . She also played Vanessa in Renfield. I got her autograph and picture. and she was nice to interact with.
The second celebrity guest I visited was Bill Moseley who played “Chop Top” Sawyer alongside Caroline Williams in the second Texas Chainsaw Massacre. His handler was very nice and he got a photo with me and also I got his autograph. He’s done a ton of horrow, including House of 1000 Corpses , Night of the Living Dead (1990) and Hayride To Hell.
After that I walked around the Con again and decided to get a haircut from the demon barber himself. Shoutout to Greg he did amazing. With every haircut he included a photo op. After that, I went over to Mad Angel Films, which is an independent film company that does movies, and brought one of their movies called Blood Red Beach.
Time For Some Panels
After the meet and greets and some wondering around it was time for the panels.
First I attended a content creator panel where they talked about advice on how to make your channel good.
Second I attended a panel with Bill Moseley, Caroline Williams, Bill Forsythe, Terrance Zdunich and Tyler Mane. They are all horror legends and I was happy to attend the panel. Watch my vlog to see the panel.
Final Thoughts
Sci-Fi Horror Fest has been doing this for a long time If you get a chance I’d recommend catching the next one! That is if you like horror and being surrounded by horror enthusiasts then this is the Fest for you. It may be small, and they may not always get a lot of celebrities, but in my honest opinion they are really good for a hometown feel with a community to back them up and for that I am extremely grateful. I will definitely be back next year with a smile on my face ready to help the local business out.
