The Last Drive In’s John Brennan and the Bigfeet are on Tour Now!

The Last Drive In has been a staple for Shudder’s top tier of programming, and it’s easy to see why. The host’s encyclopedic knowledge of film and crazy bits like the video clip below that tries to explain the plot of Spookies are forces to be reckoned with. Joe Bob has been doing some in-person speaking arrangements lately, and now John Brennan and the Bigfeet are playing live in New York City.

Beloved cult rock band John Brennan and the Bigfeet from SHUDDER’s “The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs” are making their return to New York City in their first show in the Big Apple since the pandemic. Also playing is the Wavy Award Winning new wave band Theophobia, and indie rockers Willis Willis and Tommy Volume. The concert will take place at Jonathan Toubin’s esteemed Ridgewood venue bar and restaurant TV Eye on December 5th. The doors open at 7 pm.

John Brennan is a Composer, Production Manager, Music Supervisor & Actor on the hit TV series “The Last Drive with Joe Bob Briggs,” which airs on AMC’s horror-centric streaming service SHUDDER. Since the show’s acclaimed premiere in 2018, John has Written, Produced & Performed more than 30 musical numbers with renowned horror host Joe Bob Briggs, his band Brennan and the Bigfeet, and esteemed guests such as Chris Jericho (AEW – All Elite Wrestling), Tim Cappello (The Lost Boys), H6LLB6ND6R (Hellbender), and Ace Von Johnson (LA Guns). Besides his duties on “The Last Drive-In,” John has Produced, Written, Directed, Edited & Scored countless hours of content for Troma Entertainment, most notably serving as Producer on legendary director Lloyd Kaufman’s two most recent feature films: “Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High aka Vol. 2” (2017) and “#ShakespearesShitstorm” (2020).

Says Brennan: “When American Werewolf In London and The Howling impregnated National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and the works of J. Robert Oppenheimer, Atomic Werewolf Xmas was born! 12/5/22, let’s celebrate with merriment, music, and a live werewolf transformation!”

About Kevin Scott

Parents who were not film savvy and completely unprepared for choosing child appropriate viewing material were the catalyst that fueled my lifelong love affair with horror, exploitation, blaxploitation, low budget action, and pretty much anything that had to be turned off when my grandparents visited. I turned out okay for the most part, so how bad could all these films actually be?
