Since day one I’ve been a huge supporter of the Women in Horror Massive Blood Drive that was organized by the amazing Soska Sisters. Every day in February a new PSA drops at night from a new and talented team. Each one has been extraordinarily creative and unique. This time we have Michelle Romano’s Blood Bride. It’s definitely one you’ll want to sink your teeth into.
Roman Media Inc. is thrilled to announce the release of Michelle Romano’s directorial debut entitled Blood Bride. This campy dark comedy was directed and produced by Romano herself, who plays the title role. It was written, edited and scored by Corey Tourigny, who plays the husband, and co-executive produced by genre filmmaker Patricia Chica. The lead cast of the film includes Robert Catrini (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back) and Jennifer Jostyn (House of 1000 Corpses).
Synopsis for Blood Bride:
This short tells the story of a husband going the extra mile to save his wife’s life, even if it means risking his own. And he just may…
The horror short has 14-minute runtime and I loved every second of it. It was intriguing, sexy, and deliciously bloody.
Blood Bride stars out very heartfelt as the husband is willing to do anything for his dying wife but as soon as the nurses appear things start to spice up. These aren’t ordinary nurses, though. They have their own intentions for his blood and they have a bloody good time retrieving it.
I loved the end the best and totally didn’t see it coming. It felt like something from The Lost Boys mixed in with stories about Lilith. The soundtrack was also wickedly awesome and fit the atmosphere perfectly.
So by those references does it mean that this is a vampire story? Only one way to find out. Make sure to watch the PSA for Blood Bride when it airs at Midnight. You can do so by clicking here – https://www.youtube.com/user/TwistedTwinsStudios.
It’s a sexy, deliciously fun time that you’ll want to sink your teeth into!
