Yes, that’s right! Our favorite teenage witch will appear in season 6 of Riverdale. Ever since The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina ended, we’ve been hoping to see her pop up in the show. Kiernan Shipka posted on Instagram that she would be reprising her role as Sabrina Spellman in Riverdale. All that is known is that she will show up in season six’s fourth episode titled “The Witching Hour.”
According to Syfy Wire:
“The episode will center around Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) performing a spell while a beloved Blossom family member’s life hangs between life and death. So who better to assist than a witch who’s moved hell for her loved ones? (And even reigned over it at one point.) SPOILER ALERT. The teenage witch ended up dying in the final episode of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. So there is a lot to speculate on how she is alive in Riverdale. On the fifth season finale of Riverdale, we learn that one of Cheryl’s ancestors was burned for witchcraft by the town. In the end, Cheryl ends up cursing the town as her ancestor Abigail Blossom did. And the ones who burned her were none other than the ancestors of Archie, Jughead, and Betty. END OF SPOILER ALERT.
The sixth season of Riverdale airs on November 16, 2021, with a five-episode event.
