Rob Daniels’ Teen Wolf  turns 35 this year. On August 23, 1985, the world was introduced to teenager Scott Howard (Michael J. Fox: Back To The Future franchise), a young man who just happens to also be a werewolf. To celebrate, we’ve created a list of fun facts you may not know.

When high school nerd Scott Howard learns from his father, Harold (James Hampton: Pump Up The Volume 1990), that being a werewolf runs in the family, he decides to take advantage of his freakish trait. Along for the ride are his best friends, Stiles (Jerry Levine: Out Of Bounds 1986) and Boof (Susan Ursitti: Zapped 1988).

2) According to Rod Daniel (WKRP In Cincinnati TV series), when test audiences first saw Scott’s dad as a werewolf, “they went insane.” He said the laughter was so loud, “it obliterated the next minute of the film.”
