Updated: New Screenshots And Trailer From Ryan Swantek’s ‘Vengeance Is Her Name’ (2023)

We just got screenshots from filmmaker Ryan Swantek’s upcoming film, Vengeance Is Her Name. Swantek is known for his films, White Willow (2017 – our review), Panther Ridge (2018 – our review), 5:29 See the Devil’s Eyes to Bathory: Virgin Blood, and we’re really looking forward to his new one. Vengeance Is Her Name follows a woman who wakes up in Hell… but doesn’t know why.

So far, all of his films have been passion projects, and Vengeance Is Her Name is no different. The story is partially inspired by his parent’s divorce. He was so determined to make this film that he did everything himself, taking on the roles of writer, director, cinematographer, producer, and actor. Other cast include Jackie Smith (Backseat to Justice TV series), Mikayla Kane (Extraterrestrial Talk Radio 2022), and Thomas Frick (Narrows TV series).

Synopsis:

A woman wakes up in a confined location with no memory of who she is or how she got there. Desperate for answers, she meets two people from her past who are also trapped in this location. As she learns more about her new reality, or lack thereof, she tries to come to grips with what is and isn’t happening. All she can do is listen, and watch what is shown to her about her past and present.
