PopHorror Let's Get Scared
Production company Neon is teaming with director David Robert Mitchell for a sequel to the 2014 indie horror hit, IT FOLLOWS (read our review here). The new project, titled THEY FOLLOW, is scheduled to go into production in 2024.

What We Know So Far
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news in October that Neon is actively developing and shopping THEY FOLLOW. In addition to director David Robert Mitchell, IT FOLLOWS star Maika Monroe is also returning for the sequel. Filming is slated for 2024. No release date is currently known, but it’s safe to say we’re probably looking at 2025 at this point. Better late than never!
The original film was an indie horror success story, taking in nearly $22,000,000 at the worldwide box office against a $1 million production but. IT FOLLOWS also enjoyed success on the digital and home video markets and is one of the best reviewed horror films of the 2010’s. A sequel is welcome news!
