Kidnap (2017) Trailer Release – “They Messed With The Wrong Mother!”

Kidnap is a suspense filled and intensifying thriller that Aviron Pictures says is will be released on August 4, 2017 starring Academy Award winner Halle Berry. This film is about an ordinary soccer mom who will stop at nothing when her six-year-old son gets kidnapped.

“An unrelenting heroic tale of Karla, who must risk everything in order to rescue her son.”

Similar movies to Kidnap that come to mind are Taken (2008), The Vanishing (1988) and Ransom (1996), where filmmakers blend a few genres to make an action packed thriller that’s worth the watch. Check out the trailer below!

Kidnap was directed by Luis Prieto (Richard Coyle’s Pusher 2012) from a script written by Knate Lee (as Knate Gnawltney). The film stars Halle Berry (X-Men: The Last Stand 2006), Sage Correa (Peanuts 2016) and Dana Gourrier (Django Unchained 2012).

Official Synopsis:

“Karla Dyson (Berry), a single mom’s regular afternoon in the park with her son soon turns into a terrifying ordeal when he suddenly disappears. Knowing she has no form of communication or time to wait for police help, Karla pursuits the kidnappers on her own.”

There are no bounds to what a mother will do do rescue her beloved son.
