This time around, I had the opportunity to watch What Scares You.

What Scares You

My Thoughts

I enjoyed this short film immensely. The premise is a genre of film that I am always up for a watch. It is also simple yet well developed in the approximate 19 minute run time. The pacing and flow of this film is on point. There were no lags or any part that didn’t fit the story or make sense.

The actor performances are top notch and really captured the personalities of the characters. Whether you loved them or hated them, you were fully invested and wanted to see what happened to them good or bad.

There is a a genuine creepiness to this film which included great practical effects. And the twist was well worth it a the end.

My Final Thought:

I absolutely loved What Scares You. The premise, the characters and the twist. I am looking forward to more films from Jason Burke and Nostalgic Nightmare Productions.
