There’s still a few days left to support Jozsef Gallai’s (I Hear the Trees Whispering, Project Skyquake, A Stranger in the Woods) newest project, The Black-Eyed Children, starring Circus of the Dead’s Bill Oberst, Jr., Hellraiser’s Simon Bamford, Laura Ellen Wilson and Kata Kuna, among others. Synopsis:
A young woman takes a job at an autumn camp in the woods, only to arrive to find that all the children have mysteriously disappeared. But as night falls, much to her dismay, some of them return.
Hello there! My name is József Gallai, independent filmmaker, writer and director of horror and mystery films such as A Stranger in the Woods, Aftermath, Project Skyquake and I Hear the Trees Whispering, to name some of them.
Since 2021 I have had the pleasure of working with Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee and Emmy winning actors and working on exciting projects, and this picture – based on a very eerie urban legend – can be an extremely special one, in many ways.
Regarding the budget, we have partial funding at the moment, and at this stage we need this campaign and YOU to be able to make this story a real success.

(The Forest Hills, Craving)Our goal is to release our film worldwide (VOD, DVD, Blu-Ray, limited theatrical) and and create an awesome mixture of genres – and subgenres – that has rarely been seen in films. We all believe this can easily be a great indie hit of 2025.
In terms of the schedule, the majority of filming will take place in October-November 2024 and we are planning to release the first full trailer in December 2024. Smaller scenes and cameos will be filmed in spring and summer 2024. Our plan is to complete the film until January 2025 and secure the first distributor(s) of the film early 2025.
