I’ll be honest with you… I love horror, but as far as paranormal stuff goes, I don’t know what I believe. I think it’s silly to rule out the possibility of ghosts, demons, etc, but I’ve never experienced anything myself yet. However, for anyone on the fence like me… Demon House is sure to make you a believer.

The documentary starts with a step-by-step recollection of what went down in the investigation from beginning to end. It’s very detailed and easy to follow. You get sucked in by the story, the events that have taken place, and the people who have experienced this bizarre ordeal.

The Portal to Hell

Just like with any story, I’, sure some of this tale was far-fetched, but you simply can’t look away from it… especially knowing that so many people who have been inside this house have had horrible things happen to them, including complete meltdowns, permanent damage to eyes, complete body failure, and more. You can’t rule it out as coincidence when, one after another, a series of strange events and bad shit happens to those who have stepped inside this one particular house. Whether people want to believe it or not, every story has some truth to it. For me, Demon House is definitely a portal to hell.

Throughout the film, I got chills just thinking about what it would be like to experience something like this. Would I believe it? Would I stay? I already know the answer. At the first signs of trouble, I would have gotten the fuck out of there. It doesn’t matter if you believe in demons, ghosts, or hell… your body can sense when something is not right, and that house was layered in darkness.

Final Thoughts:

This is one of the best horror documentaries I’ve seen in awhile, and I wouldn’t expect anything less from Zak Bagans. Demon House is well crafted and highly educational, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat, making you question the existence of the paranormal. So, do you believe?

Looking forward to watching it? Demon House is in Theaters, VOD and Digital HD on March 16!
